iTabletop is an online gaming environment which allows users to create and play games on the internet, and play with their internet gaming friends using video, audio, and/or text messaging for the players to communicate. This environment does not enforce any specific rules about the game, so you are not limited to playing by any standard rules.
iTabletop runs on these operation systems:
- Windows XP / Vista / 7

The system requirements are:
- Microsoft Silverlight Plugin
- Adobe Flash Plugin
- 800MHz Processor
- 1GB System Memory
- 50 MB Hard Disk Space
- Cable or DSL Internet
- IE8 for Windows (32-bit version - see below)
- Safari for Mac OS X
- Webcam for face-to-face
- Microphone for voice-to-voice
- Standard headphones, headset, or tabletop conferencing unit to reduce echo
Note, if you are on a 64 bit windows machine you must make sure you are using the 32 bit version of Internet Explorer as the 64 bit version does not support Silverlight.
At present Unix does not support the latest version of Silverlight, which is required to run iTabletop. However, iTabletop should run once Silverlight 4 support is available under Unix, provided the other requirements are met.
Users have reported success running iTabletop in a Windows virtual machine under Linux.
